LOGAN’S LANDING ORGANIZING DOWNTOWN GREEN & CLEAN DAY SATURDAY, APRIL 21st

Thursday, March 8th, 2012

Downtown Logansport will be green and clean, thanks to our crew of volunteers!  Logan’s Landing is recruiting volunteers to help weed and trim, pick up litter, sweep, and generally spruce up the downtown district on Saturday April 21st from nine to noon.  Volunteers are asked to bring their own yard work tools and gardening gloves with them.  Register today by phone, 574-722-9345, or by e-mail at lldirector@loganslanding.com, and give an hour or two of your time to make our downtown district an area we can all be proud of.

This year, Logan’s Landing will also be collaborating with other neighborhood organizations, including Midtown Village, Southside Gateway Committee, and West Logan Task Force, who will be coordinating clean-ups in their areas on the same day.  All volunteers will gather at the Depot at 9:00 a.m. for a kick-off and group photos, and will then proceed to their assigned areas.  For information on these groups, contact Kado Downs, kado.downs@gmail.com (Midtown); Pam Leeman, Pam.Boor@Regions.com (Southside); or Cathy Miller, cmiller@areafive.com (West Side).

Let’s all help make Logansport Green and Clean!
