THE TASTE RETURNS ON AUGUST 14TH

Tuesday, July 20th, 2021

Logan’s Landing announces the return of THE TASTE! After COVID restrictions forced cancellation of the event in 2020, we are very happy to once again present this evening of fun, food and drink, adult beverages, and live music!

The Taste will take place in the Farmers Market Lot in downtown Logansport from 5:00 pm to midnight on Saturday, August 14th.  Kids Korner hours are 5:00 to 8:00 pm, with free activities for the youngsters. Live music kicks off with Hence the Hero at 5:00, followed by Love4Zero at 7:15, and then our headliner, the Grace Scott Band, starting at 9:30.

Local food and drink establishments, as well as non-profit organizations, are invited to participate as food vendors. Please contact us right away to ensure booth space.

Additionally, many different levels of event sponsorship are still available. For more information about becoming a Taste food vendor or sponsor, or for additional information about the event itself, contact Logan’s Landing at 574-722-9345 or lldirector@loganslanding.com — and be sure to follow the Taste facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/TheTaste2021.

Logan’s Landing’s Celebrate Logansport event on June 24th was enjoyed by everyone! People of all ages gathered downtown to celebrate Logansport’s 183rd birthday, enjoy free birthday cake and free kids activities, and eat delicious strawberry shortcake.

Special thanks to all who participated in this event, including the Logan’s Landing Board of Directors and Promotion Committee for co-chairing the event. Additionally, thank you to Cass County Arts Alliance and Heart to Heart Hospice for providing free activities for children; downtown merchants for donating raffle prizes; Mike Anderson Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-RAM for the use of a vehicle for deliveries; the Pharos-Tribune and Michelle Dials & Cass County Communication Network for helping us get the word out; the City of Logansport, especially Mendy Asselin and the Mayor’s office for the birthday cake, and the city employees who served shortcake; Logansport Parks Department and Cass-Pulaski Community Corrections for set-up and tear-down assistance; and Logansport Savings Bank for bottled water.  Congratulations to the raffle and 50/50 winners: Chris Armstrong, Karli Armstrong, Deb Baker, Jesse Coffman, Brenda Culp, Erin Deichman, Jan Fawley, Jackie Hamilton, Lindsey & Kallie Penn, Janella Prilaman, Mark Strong, and Nick Yax.

And most of all, a huge THANK YOU to all our volunteers and to everyone who attended. We hope to see you all again at next year’s Celebrate Logansport event!
