Spooktacular Participants Named

Logan’s Landing announces the return of your favorite downtown Halloween traditions!  On Thursday October 28thfrom 4-6, participating downtown merchants will hand out treats to costumed trick-or-treaters during the Downtown Spooktacular, so bring the kids on down!  And be sure to stick around for the annual Elks Halloween Parade immediately following the trick-or-treating – fun for all ages!

Participating Spooktacular locations include Logansport Savings Bank, Mike Anderson Chrysler Dodge, Stacy Cox Agency, Kitchell Agency, Dessert First, Security Federal, Fernbaughs Diamonds & Fine Jewelry, Gray Mill, Tommy P’s Boardwalk Café, Diversified General Federal Credit Union, Pharos-Tribune, Jason’s House of Trains, Bandstock Teen Night Club, Domino’s Pizza, PNC Bank, 5th Street BBQ, and Logan’s Landing & City of Logansport.  Look for the Halloween flags at participating locations.

LOGAN’S LANDING ANNOUNCES DOWNTOWN SPOOKTACULAR

DANCING WITH OUR STARS WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

Downtown Logansport was THE place to be on Saturday October second!  The “Dancing With Our Stars” event presented by Logan’s Landing was a huge success, with a sold-out crowd of over 200 guests who came to see a dozen teams of dancers perform, all to raise money for Logansport’s  Downtown Arts District.

Dance teams were: Mayor Mike Fincher & Karen Rigle; Dan Keister & Gina Curl; Jean Cole & Kyle Kellogg; Annette Russell & Bucky Kramer; Gaby Moore & Erik Kimbler; Judge Leo Burns & Dannan Mordenti; Mercedes Brugh & Jonathan Fisher; Kelly Hawes & Jessica Griffith; Sheila Wildermuth & Kyle Smith; Dick Dilling & Gina Curl, the winners of Best Performance, Judy Lewis & Kyle Kellogg, and the winners of Most Votes, Brian King & Megan Cox.

Our expert judges were Teresa Cain, Kari Thomas of Dance “Elite” of Kokomo, and Chris Neuhauser of RHUM Academy of Kokomo.

Logan’s Landing Receives Downtown Enhancement Grant

Logan’s Landing was notified that we are the recipient of a $5000 Downtown Enhancement Grant from the Indiana Office of Community & Rural Affairs. Thanks to a matching grant of $5000 from the Cass County Visitors Bureau, $10,000 will soon be invested in the downtown district!

Congratulations to the winners of Dancing With Our Stars! The team of Brian King & Megan Cox won with the most votes, and the Best Performance award went to Judy Lewis & Kyle Kellogg. A great time was had by all, and funds were raised for the Downtown Arts District. Thanks to all who participated!
