Public Meeting re: Future Downtown Projects

The City of Logansport and Logan’s Landing would like to invite the public to an informational session on Monday, March 9th from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at All Saints Parish Fellowship Hall. Presenters for the project will show the project concepts so far and we want more input from the community through open discussions.

The City of Logansport and Logan’s Landing is committed to making our downtown a more viable place to do business, have entertainment, be pedestrian friendly and be a place people want to visit and live. LOGAN’S LANDING ANNOUNCES ARTS SCHOLARSHIP

Logan’s Landing will award one $500 scholarship to a Logansport High School student entering his/her freshman year of college in the fall of 2015. Eligible students must have been involved in the arts while in high school, through arts-related curriculum and/or extra-curricular activities, and must plan to continue their involvement with the arts while in college. Application deadline is March 20, 2015.

Open House Scheduled re: Future Downtown Projects

Logan’s Landing and the City of Logansport invite the public to an open house informational session on Monday February 9th from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Logansport City Building, in Council Chambers on the third floor. Project concepts will be displayed and discussed for potential downtown projects.

LOGAN’S LANDING ORGANIZING DOWNTOWN GREEN & CLEAN DAY SATURDAY, APRIL 18

Downtown Logansport will be green and clean, thanks to our crew of volunteers! Logan’s Landing is recruiting volunteers to help pick up litter, sweep, weed and trim, and generally spruce up the downtown district on Saturday April 18 from nine to noon. Volunteers may be individuals, families, or teams from businesses, churches, clubs or other organizations. Volunteers are asked to bring their own yard work tools and gardening gloves with them. Register today by e-mail (lldirector@loganslanding.com) or phone, 574-722-9345, and give an hour or two of your time to make our downtown district an area we can all be proud of.
