2500 MILE BICYCLE TOUR ANNOUNCED

Tuesday, July 24th, 2018

Lifelong Logansport resident Aaron Anderson will be cycling 2500 miles from Logansport to Santa Barbara, California, following the legendary Route 66!  This trip will raise money for Logan’s Landing, the Main Street organization devoted to revitalizing downtown Logansport, Indiana. Aaron is calling this fundraiser “Miles for Main Street” and is asking supporters to make a pledge per mile (hint: a penny per mile x 2500 miles = $25.00) or make a donation of a predetermined amount.  Donations are tax-deductible.  Credit card donations can be made at www.loganslanding.com; click on the “donate” button on the home page, then complete the information.  Click on “add special instructions” and type “Miles for Main Street.”

There will be a send-off for Aaron from 8:00 to 8:15 a.m. on Friday August 3rd.  He will be departing from the Depot at 4th & Melbourne Avenue in downtown Logansport.  The public is encouraged to attend and show their support for this exciting journey!
