Dear Friend of Logansport
Thank you for your continued support of Logan’s Landing, the only organization committed to community and economic development in downtown Logansport! Because of supporters like you, we continue to:
- Successfully promote downtown through events like the Downtown Christmas Open House.
- Promote successful business recruitment and retention through the Business Listing Brochure, and through a working partnership with the Downtown Business Organization Group.
- Continue beautification projects such as “Streetscape”, which infused $500,000 into downtown sidewalks, lighting, and tree plot.
You and I already understand the importance of a thriving downtown. The National Main Street Center in Washington, D.C., sums it up well, stating that The Downtown District is the most visible indicator of community pride, economic and social health. It is either an asset or a liability in attracting and keeping businesses, residents, and tourists!
Please join us as we build on our success and look toward new projects for 2006, including:
- 9 New trash receptacles downtown
- Updated downtown business-listing brochure
- Aesthetic development of “The Point” at Broadway and 2nd, a major thoroughfare from downtown
- Development of a streetscape plan for 4th Street between the rivers
Please return the enclosed membership form and your tax deductible membership contribution to Logan’s Landing. Logan’s Landing Association is a 501 (c) (3) organization. Membership dues and contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Remember, membership is open to anyone who has an interest in partnering with us to make our community a better place to live, work, and visit!
