LOGAN’S LANDING AWARDS TWO ARTS SCHOLARSHIPS

Tuesday, May 14th, 2013

Logan’s Landing awarded two $500 Arts Scholarships to Logansport High School students at the LHS Awards Night on May 13. The amazing response to our Dancing With Our Stars events has proven to us that the Logansport community recognizes the importance of the arts in downtown revitalization. The Logan’s Landing organization decided to use some of the money raised at these events to encourage the next generation of citizens to continue their arts-related activities and volunteerism.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Cass County Arts Alliance, we were able to award $500 scholarships to not one, but two deserving students this year. We received applications from several qualified individuals, and based our selection on the students’ volunteerism and dedication to the arts. This year’s recipients are Hunter Curl and Luke Jackson. We congratulate both students and wish them all the best in their future endeavors!

Logan’s Landing is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making Cass County’s downtown between-the-rivers district a viable place to operate a business, a rewarding place to live, and a fun place to visit.  For more information, call 574-722-9345, or find us on Facebook.
