DOWNTOWN CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE DETAILS RELEASED BY LOGAN’S LANDING

During the 12th annual Downtown Christmas Open House from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday December 1st, shoppers can support local businesses, help our community’s less fortunate, and enter to win over $2100 of great prizes!

Bring canned food and pet items to the Downtown Christmas Open House Headquarters in the Depot at Fourth & Melbourne, trade your canned goods for tickets, then visit the 21 participating merchants and deposit your tickets for your chance to win great prizes!  Be on the lookout for Santa’s Helpers handing
out more than $300 in Logan’s Landing Bucks to random shoppers during the event, too!  Santa’s Helpers will include volunteers from the LHS Berryettes, Emmaus Mission Center, Salvation Army, and the Cass County Humane Society.

Cass Area Transit will provide continuous shuttle service throughout the event area that evening, so you can park and ride!  There is no charge for shuttle service, but free-will donations will be gratefully accepted.  Look for the drop box on the shuttles for a chance to win bonus prizes, too!

Santa will be at Superior Auto, so be sure to bring your camera!  Mike Anderson Chrysler Dodge will feature a gift-wrapping booth manned by volunteers from the Franklin Elementary School PTF, so you can have your purchases wrapped that evening for a free-will donation.

You can download and print an advance copy of the event flyer and map at www.casscountycalendar.com/downloads/dcoh_map_2011.pdf.  Pet items collected will be given to the Cass County Humane Society, and food items will be split between Emmaus Mission Center and the Salvation Army … so you are helping others while entering to win.

Be sure to check out the great bargains available at the participating merchants, and get your Christmas shopping started right here in downtown Logansport!  For more information, contact Logan’s Landing at lldirector@loganslanding.com or 574-722-9345. Check the Logan’s Landing facebook page for details, too.
